I wear an Alpinestars chest/neck protector combo for upper body; they are designed for each other. I crashed yesterday and broke the chest protector. I also scraped & bruised up a lot of areas that I wouldn't have if I had been wearing my EVS ballistic jersey that I've had for awhile. This makes me wanna go back to it, since it provides all the possible protection for your upper body available. However, I really want neck protection also, and it doesn't seem like there is any ballistic jersey/ neck brace combo available. And no, I'd rather not buy a million little separate items for my upper body to use a neck brace since I already have a ballistic jersey. Have you ever worn a combo like this? What are your suggestions?
