I have installed the SX2 Artrax tires and they are never spooned on. I have a Tyer Tool from Croatia (the original non-stolen design) of the Baja no-pinch knock off. Tires install with ease, to seat them and slip them on I have alwasy used a little WD-40 and it works like a dream. It dry's and of course, does not react to water after like the soap solutions. The tires: Front, very good performance and wear, would buy them again for personal use. Have put three sets on YZ250 smokers and one set on a 05 CRF450, have had no complaints from clients saying they are bad tires on the 250's. Rear, the rear on anything over a 250cc bike and 120 size is "JUNK". The 450 ate that tire like an Italian at an all you can eat pasta bar. And I don't mean knocking lugs off, I mean the tire started to warp on the sidewalls and became out of true and round. The knobbies were still all in-tack. I called Motorsport and complained and they basically said FU. They did the same to me when they sent me a tire that was manufactured 3 years old. Told me I was full of it as tires do not deteriorate on the shelf. They started charging tax to CA residents now anyway so unless I really want a part from them, they lost ALL my business. Your tires I have not used, just the SX2. Hope the 250 keeps the rear true.
