Message: <blockquote data-quote="ossagp" data-source="post: 184507" data-attributes="member: 1650"><p>after you use that one, you may want to just pickup another flywheel rotor.  It is pretty easy to bend a flywheel.   if you do decide that is the only way,  then heat the center with a heat gun or propane torch,  torque to about 100 lbs and then smack the puller bolt with a steel hammer.  all this in the name of the flywheel and trying to salvage it.  if you get a puller where the center bold is really angled like the one pictured you run the risk of splitting the crankshaft.   I have done that twice.  one time was when i hit it,  and the other time it did it on it's own,  and was NOT even a jawed puller.  just one with too much taper.</p></blockquote><p></p>
