The Truth Revealed

In 2010 I was unemployed for roughly 7 months. Idle hands and whatnot, I started flipping (buying and selling) motorcycles from craigslist. One of my very first flips was a 1997 Suzuki GSXR 750 SRAD. I found it in pieces for $400. Everything was there except fairings. Promptly moved the boxes of parts into the dining room :smirk: and began the reassembly process.

After some new gaskets and a little know how, she was coming together pretty nicely.

I was feeling pretty good about things!

Finished up the rebuild of the goodies like brakes, chain, seat, tank, carbs, and cables.
Installed the exhaust.

Needed some fairings. Went down and found a set at a salvage yard for $70.

After a little lovin' I was able to ride her up and down the street a few times! Awesome!

Then paint was next. I figured a flashy color would do nicely.

This is how I sold it for $2300 to a nice lady. This flip took about 7 days and a total of $800 investment on my part. Flip more bikes people!

So, now you know how I got my moniker. Looking for help in gixxer.com and I needed a screenname. :smirk: -BIG DAN
