Other 1990 Rt 100

maintenance wise, the RT is going to be uber easy to take care of, just basic things, mix your gas 32:1, keep your air filter clean (when it looks dirty, clean it!) change the oil in the gear box maybe once a month which is way overkill  keep the chain adjusted, you should have about 2 inches between it and the swingarm with it on a stand, check the spokes regularly and keep them tightened, other than that just ride it and save your money for a early 00's 125, they can be had for about 1000-2500 around here

The RT has oil injection! Dont mix your gas yourself, your bike will do it for you. Just make sure you keep oil in the oil tank under the seat. If your oil injector is broken, you can mix the gas yourself 32:1 and pour directly into the tank.

the mileage yammi got out of this bike........it first came out in 78 as a DT100......the only thing that changed in its LONG production run was its plastics and tank

one of my riding buddies back in the day had one brand new in 78....its sized as a smaller almost mini bike which was a change from the previous yr DT100 which was a fuller sized bike

not much power and very few mods you can do to it........great beginner bike
