My 83 DR250 starts fine, pull choke, kick, and she's going. The problem is it pops a little while idling, and a lot of the time it idles up and down up and down. Never down to the point it dies tho. As long as you arnt trying to run WOT the bike also drives great to but both at an idle or in gear if you it the throttle hard it boggs down for a sec then raps on up. I have put in a new plug, and scrubbed the Carb the best I can. It probably set for 3 years with bad fuel... any suggestions are highly appreciated. Thank you.

Honestly it's pretty close to the same. It may be worse after it's good and warm but I don't recall noticing. I will say this. You can take the air fuel mixture screw and adjust it all the way down and the bike still runs. Now from my little experience adjusting quadrajets or edlebrocks, if you turn the air fuel screw all the way down the dang thing isn't going to run lol.
Got it thanks for the help. Sprayed starting fluid on the little intake and she has a bad spot in it.
