Okay I’m new here so bare with me. So my brother has a 08 kx 250f that he got last year. So the story is we got it and it was 180 off for timing so we fixed that. The piston broke on both sides of wrist pin so we pulled it down to the base and replaced all bearings and bushings and seals in lower end. The connecting rod and bearing is new and the entire top end is all brand new. So got it back together and got the valve clearance all in speck and the timing is spot on and we cleaned the carb. It did run and started really good before the detonation but now after everything is all done it doesn’t wanna start but it will backfire and when it does start it runs good I guess but after like 2-3 laps it just quits and won’t start back up for a while then it will start and do the same thing. I think it’s electrical but don’t know where to start on the electrical and it seems to have a weak spark. Please help?
