2 Stroke 04 RM 85 engine gasket replacment. Need help

I recently noticed coolant in my engine oil, did a little bit of online research and they said to replace the head gasket and surrounding gaskets. I have purchased the part and now need some help on the steps off engine take down, gasket replacement and putting the engine back together properly.
Thanks alot!

you will need to remove;
Seat
Gas tank
rad hose(s)
top motor mount
spark plug

And then it should just be the ~6 bolts on the top of the head to remove it and replace the gasket. Make sure that you go in a cross pattern on removal and installation and torque to proper specs.

NOW THAT BEING SAID, THE HEADGASKET IS NOT YOUR PROBLEM

On a 2 stroke dirtbike the only way water can get into the engine oil is if you flood the bike in a pond or you have a bad waterpump bearing/seal, im assuming its the latter of the two.

This process is not typically complicated either, but im afraid you most likey will not fix the problem with a headgasket

The liquid in the engine oil is not water. To cool my bike I use engine ice coolant, and when you let it settle I can see the blue (color of the coolant) separated from the oil. I do ride through some water, but the liquid is defiantly not water.

Well the "Waterpump" pumps whatever you put in your radiator for cooling use. Therefore if you put engine ice in your cooling system and the liquid in the oil is blue it is the waterpump seals

Ok. So do I still need to take the whole top end apart to change that? If not what needs to be done to replace/change/repair the seal
No reason to touch the topend for just the waterpump seal. Usually only takes removal of the waterpump cover, waterpump impeller, and side cover to do the seals and bearings

Would you be able to show me (with a link, picture, etc) of where these parts are located on the engine itself, or explain it to me. I have an idea of where it might be, but I want to double check before I go and the down my bike

Drain the oil first.
Clutch cover is the right hand cover. Held on with 8-9 bolts, typically allen head. Remove the clutch cable, rear brake lever, and hoses. Then it wiggles off.

Reassembly takes some wiggling and fiddling as well. But it won't go on, unless it's correct. -BIG DAN:thumb:

Do you think I should also buy a new water pump impeller. What is the chance if it needing to be changed.
inspect it for any knicks/grooves/uneven-ness when you take it out, chances are its probably still fine. Just make sure you do the bearings too otherwise you'll be doing it all again
