Hi,Good day, I was wondering if someone could help me with my 07 Rm 250 carb?

I did a motorcross race today and the first heat the bike ran perfectly but when I lined up at the start the bike idled and died at the start,there was no funny noises from engine or anywhere.I did check the sparkplug,but it can't be that because I put a brand new one in the night before.

Did you let your dirt bike warm-up

Yes did proper warm up,no cold hard riding done

Can it be fuel mixture or spark?

spark I thing but maybe fuel miture

Becuase it does not make sense to me that the bike ran great in first heat and then when I wanted to start second heat it idled and then just died and did not want to start again

what mixture would you recommend?

I use 32 to 1

Um I don't have a recommendation for fuel mixture but maybe try vp race fuels

Vp 110 is good for 2 stroke engines you should try it. I use vp race fuels I mix it in with the gas.

We use Motul for our bikes as it is the best we can get...It is the oil that works best with the heat in Botswana for the engines...but thank you.

What would you prefer I do first to get the bike running?must I just change sparkplug first and see what happens and then go from there?

try to get the bike running and maybe change the sparkplug after that if necessary. just don't touch the engine after it's running because that's painful.

Thank you got the bike running,I think we just needed to check the sparkplug and see if we can get one with higher temperature...but all good so far thanks.

my Rm 250 was running for 2-3 hours just fine not any problems at all,but the day after I rode for so long it started for a while and then it dies and then you can try and start the bike as you like it won't.

now we have doen some research and asking around,and we asked a guy that knows two strokes very good and he says that it might be the CDI or the Coil Pack,is that correct or is there something else we are missing?

It is over fueling the whole time even after we changed,cleaned and reset the carb settings to stock settings...
