I'm considering trying a half waffle next.

got a set of Heny/Reed bend Pro Tapers at a local bike shop brand new for $40 bucks

Finally got a frame mounted kickstand modified to work with my bike that was never intended to have one. No more looking for something to lean my bike up against when I take a break.
Tore the motor out and fully broken down to attack a bad crank seal. Figure I might as well throw in that wide ratio trans that's been sitting on the shelf while I'm at it. Just a few mods and I'll have a first gear. Hopefully be riding again at KOH in a couple of weeks.

Got my fork seals done and put my son's bike up for sale

Messed my bike up the other day. Putting in a wide ratio trans and re-sealing the cankcase I managed to destroy the left side case. That turned into a good day as I got to spend the afternoon with my youngest daughter and just hang out. 
But now I'm on a deadline. I've found a good case half and it should be here tomorrow or Thursday. I've then got a few days to get the bike back to running so I can leave for King of the Hammers on Wednesday of next week. As long as nothing else goes wrong and I can pull away for a couple of hours here or there, I should still be able to make it.........we'll see.

Made the decision to back off on the bike and not worry about getting it ready for the upcoming week as it would make for a thrash-fest and I wouldn't have much family time before I leave. Instead I had a down day with my (almost) 5 yr. old and watched Beauty and the Beast in 3D.
After 3 buddies offered up their bikes without hesitation or me asking, I think I'll try.......orange. Been wanting to give a 300 a shot.

hehe on the last one ... SQUEEEEZE..... that feeling freaked me out the first few times i was on a track. coming from BMX and MT bike its quite the difference having all that weight under and the feeling of it all going away from you
