A few weeks ago a buddy's mom took a bunch of pictures of us riding, finally got a copy of them. :ride:

 And this is why you don't skimp on suspension.

 Just look at all that Kawi power, :smirk:

 To bad CDA wasn't there with his polishing skills, this would've been a truly epic picture with a sparkling bike. :smirk:

Sweet pics! Looks like that 12 year old kid had a good time.

My sweetly polished YZ would look sweet against that lush green area :smirk:

I see you got your suspension lowered to compliment your height
 You noticed that? Shhhh  :smirk:
Nice pics James! When are you coming back to the desert? :ride:
Thanks. Plans are for this Thanksgiving, you going to be there? :ride:
Nice pics James:thumb: bout damn time we seen some action out of you.:smirk:
Thanks.

 Action out of me? If by that you mean me photoshop'ing some pictures, then yes I guess that would be some action. :prof: For the record it's kind of hard shrinking another (real) rider down to my size. :P

how big of a jump did you bottom off of? 6 or 7 feet?
The jump itself is 85 feet peak-to-peak with a landing that's all of a couple feet . Thankfully it's a step-down jump (like a smaller table on a table :noidea:), because I value life. My pecking order is LIFE and then MX.

The guys who actually take it, usually take it in 4th. However depending on your gearing setup you can also do it in 3rd tapped, just doesn't give you much room for error. I'll hit it in 3rd or 4th but flat land on the step-down part and "launch" ( 530 :smirk:) off the end and flat again. If you soak up the bike on the face it'll keep you lower and your speed up, that way you don't lose that much time. :ride:

We have 2 of those at Malvern, I don't exactly think they are 85 feet though, but I don't like the downhill drop of them. At least once during practice someone will endo off of one and get messed up, so I do the same as you. I actually found you can be faster doing so as long as your on the gas on the landing, I made mabey 2 passes my whole MX life on the one particular jump since there is so much air time.
