leatt brace hydration pack.

without seeing one in person it looks like they definitely intended it to be a throw away deal. That dont mean you cant clean em out and reuse them yourself tho.

I have a camelbak I use for training and when I go out riding for a long time that fits over all my gear no prob. I pour hot water and soap in it when I'm done, close it up, shake and wash it back out. leave the fill hole open to dry out.

hardcore... i dump the water out my pack and hang it up... its been a long time since i washed mine ... its jsut water in there anyway and you really just gotta make sure its not in a cold damp area so mold dont start growing in the tubes.

iv worn a bunch of different styles of camelbacks and non of them fit with my gear right. i were a chest protector under my jersey and my leatt over all of that and the camelback just doesnt fit right with it all.
i also tried calling them and the # was no longer in service. so the next gncc ill ask some1 who has 1

What kind of chest protector do you wear?

Thats actually kinda cool, looks like it would carry the weight of the water better than Camelbak. I use a 2 liter camelbak all the time in the woods, I have it zip tied to my chest protector. So even if i'm not using it, its still with me every time I ride and I just take the bladder out when I'm not carrying water. Having water with you is an absolute must when you are riding deep out in the woods many miles from any civilization or where the vehicles are parked. Woodsrider, what protector do you use? I've never seen anyone wear a chest protector under the jersey, i've only seen over top of the jersey where camelbaks works perfectly. The weight seems like it would be a problem, but as soon as you ride for a couple minutes you forget its even there and just get used to it to the point it actually feels weird riding without the weight. The leatt system is a good idea for a better way to carry the water, but imo it doesnt hold anywheres near enough water for woods riding. It would be ok for like during a harescramble race where you don't stop to drink more than absolutely necessary but other than that i'll stick to my camelbak.

i wear a fox but its more like a roost guard instead of a chest protector. what do you mean it doesnt carry enough? if you wear a 2L than this has .5L more water that your camelback.

do you wear a leatt? and do you put the leatt over the roost guard?
If this is at me, then yeah I do wear a Leatt. You can remove the top two pieces of the back brace in the core saver, which allows you to wear the Leatt on the outside of the jersey. I'm really digging this setup, the core saver offers excellent protection for the upper body and the Leatt works well with it, especially if you use the Leatt straps/harness. :ride:
