Nice work Timo. I'm picturing your big ass frame crawling like a army man under the house. What fun! I always hated that's shit but still it has to be done.
I don't mind putting on the coveralls and doing electric, fresh water lines, gas lines, and new septic. I still can't forget the day I cut out the old line.![]()
I like keeping my cardboard around for crawling on under the house. That and a spider web stick. LOL
Funny thing on that is, I ended up putting plywood down because halfway out the crawl, I found a spot where they disposed of a whole bunch of broken glass.
Why aren't there basements or Rat slabs atleast?
That's devil talk, she the devil!Use some 5" rain leader to hide that has line or Alcoa makes a viny trim piece just for that kind of application.
I really could have used one of you guys here to help me since I don't know what the hell I'm doing.I am just copying what was already here and how it was done. The problem with that is there were no building codes in 1898. It has proven that it can stand the test of time, but it would have been nice to have done it right. I'm ending up having to fix all kinds of stuff that I screwed up at the start. After all that is said, what the hell is a 5" leader and a has line?
