Scorpion is my next, DOT and looks like the MX-51.
My buddy just got the KTM350 and it has a DOT Maxxis on it, not sure of name. Looks like a good tread design also.

What kind of riding do you want the tire for jos? Mainly street or off road or even mix etc? The tire Palmer is speaking of is the maxxis desert enduro IT. It's dot approved and IMHO they are the best dot knobbies around BUT their tread life SUCKS. Got about 350-400 miles out of the rear and the front is looking like it will go about 1k maybe. If you want a great off road knobbie I recommend them if you manage to find them. So far I have a Dunlop d606 on the rear wand while the traction is not as good as th maxxis. It's not bad at all for offloading. And it's wearing alot slower too.

Went on my 1st solo ride. bike ran ran great, thatg is until i got it home. I rinsed it off, changed the rear tire, then she would not idle, always dying, being hard to start. I i pulled the pilot, blew it out, still no fix. plug is not fouled.
