Should I stay with a blue or go clear desert? not sure how a clear tank would look since my bikes all black and blue (like me after a ride :smirk: )

What do you guys think?

I don't think i'll be pushing the range past where i'm at now... hopefully get back into GP's and WORCs which are only 45min to an hour. Might use it for the 12 and 24 hour races cause its got a light

It's called sloshing. I would go translucent because you can see how much is in the tank on either side. Now, I have seen guys put a piece of hose in the tank that is long enough to reach one side to the other. The theory they are looking for is a syphon as the tank gets lower. I'm not going to say that works or not. The only real way things work is a tank with two cocks. :smirk:

The clear dez tank I have on my YZ came with 2 outlets that you could plumb together if you wanted. It's an Acerbis. I opted not to plumb them together. I prefer to run out as a gentle reminder and be able to tip the bike to move the gas to the other side and go into ultra conservative riding mode.

Some gas can be trapped, but it sloshes pretty well. You can consider that last little bit an emergency reserve. When the bike quits you lay it down to get that last little bit and then continue on.

i'm looking into the YZ tank, it's a 3.4 for the oversized (.2 bigger than stock WR) and the seat will be lower... snowflake i already forgot what we were talking about on FB...lol
