RM125 Identify model year, RM125?

  1. Hi all dirtbike fans!

I need some help identifying the model year of a RM125 engine, installed in my gokart.

I was told that it was a 94, at first when I bought it, but after I broke the lower bearing of the rod, I ordered new gaskets and seals, for 92-96 models. But almost none of the gaskets were correct, and only 2-3 of the seals fitted. So I assume that the motor is not 94.

Is there any numbers on the motor that can identify the year of make?

    BR, Magnar, Norway.
  2. I bet you could call a Suzuki dealer and give them the Serial # and they could tell you.

  4. Yes... Get the serial numbers off the engine... There supposed to be on the kickstart side of the bottom end i beleive... A 94 model will have a R.. on the 10th number.
  5. Ok!
Found a number right above the kickstarter.

    F114-113757

    Does that look familiar?
  6. Im not positive... But i think that number is a 85 model.... Hopefully one of the zuki dudes will tell you more about it than i can.
  7. you are gonna have to call a dealer on that one.
    sorry :pout:
