Thanks!! I definitely LOVE to ride! And love doing long roadtrips too exploring new areas. And it's in miles.... it's currently at 295k miles, so 474,800 KM. I have 2 cars too, one of which is about to turn 439k miles (706,500 KM). Other car is the young'n with only 144k miles, lol

Here's a little video I had made a few years ago when it turned 200k..... it's only a 5 digit odometer so I recorded it both times it rolled over. Kinda cheesy but you get the idea, lol

30 sets of tires ($7,500)

60 Oil Changes ($1,800)
10-15 Chains ($1,400)
Registration+Insurance ($2,500)

Loving a motorcycle in 300,000 ways, over 11 years (Priceless)

How's the bike been over the years?

It's been fantastic! Amazingly reliable bike..... taken me through 21 states without so much as a hiccup. Only kinda major-ish repair needed was the trans... started popping out of gear. Had to do 3rd gear twice and 4th gear once. Other than that just some small stuff..... couple regulator/rectifiers, clutch cables, 2 water pumps and a radiator (that may have been a rock that punctured it), couple sets of wheel bearings and 1 set of steering head bearings (used All Balls tapered roller bearings.... way better than stock). Couple timing chain tensioners too though replaced with a manual one cuz the Honda auto tensioners really suck, lol. Then 1 speed sensor and 1 thermowax valve. It sounds like a lot but it's really not..... plus I do all the work myself so it's really no big deal. Still runs and rides like a dream, starts up immediately every single time

Ohh I know... I'd truly hate to add up everything I've spent, LOL. But it's been absolutely worth it and I wouldn't change it for the world.... it's something I truly love to do. Pretty much everybody I know nowadays, somehow goes back to 2 wheels :)

And it's probably closer to 50 sets of tires.......ugh
