So....... Im in a bit of a quandary. I know I want to get into another bike. Ive ridden a 2010 YZ450F and enjoyed it. But it was just a little bit of a putt. I didn't really RIDE it. So what Im looking for is personal opinions (with factual information) and personal experience from you folks on this type bike. Anything you guys come up with will be appreciated and likely help me make a decision on my new ride. Pretty much its going to be between the 450F and the YZ250X. Which is a purpose built GNCC hair scramble built machine.

Smoke - Knowing you came from a 250 smoker before you would already know the feel of the 250. The 250 is a nice setup and can have options added quickly to make it a serious weapon off-road. The 450 is a killer bike, but is not very user friendly for adding a bigger tank.
I have owned both a 2003 YZ250 and 07 YZ450 and I loved them both. They were both made into a great dez weapon. Ask yourself, if you are going to ride the Virginia GP again, what bike would you want to drag around?

Putting all my prejudices aside, If your looking for a 450, the YZ to me has a handeling flaw in the front end, the best way I could describe it is a very light feel with a lot of oversteer.,making it feel quite unstable and twitchy on the straits, And this is coming from a RM guy,I've ridden the '06 and the '10 and both bikes felt the same way, great motor but I couldn't get past the feel of the bike.......between your choices I would go with the 250 X.
