I have a 2006 yz250f and it has really poor front braking. We have already bled the brakes and it has plenty of pad left. We also refilled the brake resivoir and it still has mushy brakes. My previous bike was a 2004 crf150f and it had excellent brakes. I was wondering if anybody can tell me what I'm missing or how I can improve my front brakes. i went to the track today and had trouble braking. I have to pull the lever in pretty tight to get any response. Please help!!

Mushy brakes can be one of two things.
Really old brake lines that are expanding (visibly).
or
Air in the system. Sometimes it takes quite a while to get all the air out of the system.
I like to try a reverse pressure method, bleeding from the caliper up to the master cylinder.
