Other Xl600r keeps dying

What gives? Just giving it a little gas is all. Just makes a sucking sound and dies. It was fine last year. It's not letting me upload the video right now

Gonna need some more info here-
So you're saying it starts, idles, and then dies when throttled?
Is it getting good, clean, new gas? Year old gas is no bueno.

What does the spark plug look/smell like?

I'll see what I can do. I hate these dual carbs very much though

Yeah she's cute. But girls like that need back rubs, a lot of them...
Dual carbs...I'm still learning too.
I hear Big Dan knows what you need to know...

I know exactly what do with her dual c....

Will it rev up at all? Or is that all the throttle it'll take before dying? Can you flutter the throttle and make the revs rise higher?
How long have you let it warm up before trying to give it gas?

Pretty common for a big 4T.
I would not consider that engine warmed up completely for at least 20 minutes of hard riding.
After the engine is way too hot to touch, reset idle and idle mixture and try again. I am betting it has not been properly warmed up when the carburetor was set. -BIG DAN:thumb:
