I did a little search on here and found no threads or talks of this hot subject. Just about all motor sport web forums have this debate between Cast vs. Forged pistons. What do you run in your bike?
Yes i forgot to mention that is only in my KX or other 2 strokes. In my Wr i run forged because i put way more hours on it.Cast in 2t
Forged in 4t
Namura is shit.I'm thinking forged for my bike. I always take the time to slowly warm up my engine before I ride. I looked into the Wossner pistons. They do make forged pistons for my bike. My only concern with the Wossner piston is it appears to be a single ring. I'm a firm believer in two rings for a better seal at lower RPM's. I believe I will purchase a Wiseco piston next. I would buy a Numara piston if they made one for my bike. As of right know they do not.
I've been useing them for 5 years now with zero problemsNamura is shit.
Great....I'll never use them again...it put a hole in my caseI've been useing them for 5 years now with zero problems
Namura is shit.
I bought one for my son's 04 CR250 it ran well and was a clean design. Italians know their stuff when it comes to metal.I've been useing them for 5 years now with zero problems
Could it have been caused by something other than the piston?Great....I'll never use them again...it put a hole in my case
Nope....jetting was spot on....same premix ratio as always, and cylinder was in spec when I put it together.but one bad experience turns ya off a product forever...like finding a pubic hair in your cokeCould it have been caused by something other than the piston?
Forget it I guess it went over your head.Nope....jetting was spot on....same premix ratio as always, and cylinder was in spec when I put it together.but one bad experience turns ya off a product forever...like finding a pubic hair in your coke
What in the Hell are you talking about? Were you rubbing your nuts on the carburetor?
