These are a couple of cool videos that really show how far the sport has come. In a way, we've come full circle. In the begining, it was 4 strokes(2nd vid), then the 2 stroke took over. The 1st video is mostly thumpers, but a few 2 strokes can be heard. Soon, everyone was on 2 strokes. Then back to 4 strokes, although todays thumpers are light years ahead of the early ones.

And here is the guy I had to race each week....I have a partial cracked tooth from that guys 500. Just listen to that thing. He was one fast kid. Life taken too soon.

500 2 strokes were beastly. You better be hanging on when your right wrist was cracking that throttle. Image a 135lb 17 year old racing one of those across the desert......

Aw the sweet sound and smell of a freshly tuned 500 2 stroke running on 110 octane VP or Trick racing fuel..
