Silverton CO Pending ride report

Tomorrow I'm taking off for Silverton CO with a couple friends, bikes, 4x4's (mixture of imports and jeeps). I will put up a report with pictures.

When I come back I want to see

1.) at least 10 "what oil is best" threads.
2.) at least 3 pages added to 500cc of Glory
3.) minimum of 4 4 stroke vs. 2 stroke threads
4.) Mike to hijack every single one of those threads with titties.

Dunno....it's been a little slow round here lately, but you can always count on titties.

On day 2, we unloaded the bikes.
Did corkscrew pass, came back, did poughkipsie gulch, hurricane pass, yankee boy basin, drained back into the Animas Forks Ghost town, and rode back to Silverton, didn't trailer the bikes to the trail, CO OHV laws allow you to ride on city and county roads so long as you have the OHV Permit ($25)

Looking down at Lake Como from the top of Hurricane Pass

Bike tall snow drifts, there was one a little bit back that I didn't get pics of, was easily 15ft tall

Turned out kinda blurry, top of Californa Pass looking at Lake Como, it started snowing.

Because we were just under 13k feet.

One of the guys in my group had his girlfriend riding, she did better than most, knew to stand up on the pegs and kept good pace.

Animas Forks Ghost Town.

The semi restored Walsh/Duncan House, been there since 1879

The Coloumbus Mill, the life blood of the town.
