RM125 Rm 125 trouble

so I bought a 2002 rm 125 2 stroke not too long ago and I don't feel like I am getting all of the power out of the first 2 gears??? It revs high and I don't feel the power??? Any idea what it might be I think it might be the carb any ideas???

Sounds like a clutch inspection is in order

..also sounds like you would have a bit of trouble leaving my 4 stroke in the dust

yeah I seen to get the power I need in 3 but not in 1st and 2nd gear

Could be the short gearing and higher load on the first two exposing the slip. Once you've got the momentum built up it may feel like it's hooking up better but it isn't.

Plates are toasted or notchy basket. My prediction.

I think it might be the clutch plates aswell because the clutch has been acting a little funny
