Please help

Hey guys.. I just bought a bike off a neighbor who is moving and didnt want to drag it with him. I was looking at the bike and saw that some of the tubes weren't really going anywhere and weren't attached to anything. What is it?20130213_160435.jpg20130213_160435.jpg20130213_160447.jpg

Like CDA said, those are needed as they're overflow hoses for the carb. I'd reroute those side ones out the bottom though, get them away from your chain/sprocket.

BTW welcome to DBA!

If you river cross alot take the ones from the side of the carb and move them to the airbox, those ones are breathers as well as overflow. If they suck up water your bike will bog down and maybe shut down. The one coming from the bottom of the carb is the bowl overflow hose, that's the one that stays sticking out of the bottom. If you have a case breather I suggest moving it as well. Leave the radiator overflow hose, don't want coolant in your air box when the radiator boils over. Just some precautions.

Welcome to the site.
