Pandora Radio

I've used the Pandora Radio app on my phone (Droid) since it came out a few years ago, but I recently discovered that you can get it pretty much anywhere. :rocker: Just downloaded the PC app, $36 a year for commercial free music. They do also have the regular free one but it's in your browser and ad supported.

Anybody else ever use it? :noidea:

Ahh you're referring to the phone app. They've been accused of sharing your birth date, gender, zip code, Android ID, and GPS information with advertisers.

That's nothing new, if you're worried about that type of stuff, close/delete your Facebook account immediately.

What info? My email address?

phone info... i guess it also reads your contacts so whatever info is there, your sex, GPS location if you have that on your phone.

i guess its not that big of a deal but id rather use one like slacker radio(i use google music as im in the beta which lets me stream my entire library from my PC) when i know at least they are not requiring to look at my contacts to sell info.

Ive got Pandora also. I have the free version, and love their service. The little advertisements that they do everyonce in a while isnt that big of a deal.

I am a fan of Iheart radio instead. http://www.iheart.com/ My favorite station on there is "The Alternative Project" Great app and good on the computer too. Has everything from music to talk radio.:thumb:
I like Pandora because you can create your own station to fit your taste via the thumbsup/down feedback. It's almost creepy in how it can figure out what you like in a relatively short time period.

I like it because it is free on the Iphone and I just plug it into my truck aux and play it all day through the speakers. XM has been calling me since my first three month free trial. I told them two years for 100 bucks or leave me alone.

I've been off of XM for a year now. They stopped calling.

It's been three years and three vehicles equipt with it. That is why they still call an d send mail. They are going bank rupt and need any rev they can muster.

I had XM radio in my car, truck, home, plus my GF's home and car. It was expensive as hell! I cut it off. Too much money. They used to be commercial free, but now it's loaded with commercials like regular radio. What a rip off!:foul:
