Around here though, the moto community is so tight that I bet someone would have given that boy a bike to ride. I have no doubts on that. I wonder if he would take it though, and how he would do on a modern bike.

First off this kid can ride, however IMO him riding a 85 cr250 is mostly to get people talking and sponsors interested (which I think is genius and looks to be working ). I'm willing to bet a $1 that it's cheaper to buy and run a 2000's 250, especially for parts.

BTW this has to piss off some parents that still can't understand that a new bike doesn't automatically make their kid faster.
