All Memorial Day plans

Anyone riding over the holiday weekend? Or staying home avoiding the traffic madness? I might try to sneak out Friday for a few loops to beat the crowds.
And before I forget, Happy Memorial Day YFF's. BBQ a steak and have a cool one for me.

Was, but nobody wanted to play .... :(.... :pout:.... Gonna be out at the rez for the weekend starting Friday afternoon. :cool:

Fox's and Road Runner are the 2 lasting floating bars on the river. Sundance was huge, but too expensive to keep open. You have the casino down the river, but not floating out on the main channel, same with buckskins.

I have been close to selling my boat many times. Still pondering it. It is not even going on this trip, just a work weekend.

my buddys from childhood use to go to parker and cause all kinds of havock... Sundance was the place. it would get crazy there. They got kicked out of Fox's as well. it was pretty known that if you were in parker and a cop found out you were from Escondido... you were going to teh station :lol:

PBK and i went there a couple years ago and sundance was closed down... we went to the little golf bar and met the owners... chit chated with em and they told us the sundance went up the owners nose :(... they partyed hard over there tho :thumb:

I had a nice 20 foot boat for around 20 years. I used to go to various spots at Havasu, including the Springs where I had a trailer. It started getting so crazy I decided to start going to Cottonwood Cove at Mojave and then the same shit started happening until it just was not fun anymore. Too many jerks on PWC and you could never find a cove anymore. I went one last time on Memorial Day about 6 years ago, came home and sold the boat.

I too loved this place back in the late 80's and 90's. Have not been there for a while but I understand it has gone through some changes.

I was willing to play but my name got the axe. :cry: I am not sure what is going on for the Weekend but if it is cool enough I may try and get a ride in somewhere. I may also go get a Brucinator up in Frazier Park. :thumb:
