Loretta story

So last week Monkey-wife loaded up the Clampett-mobile and took Monkey-boy and Monkey-girl down to one of the tracks that they race on in Minnesota for a 4 day practice session. The track is owned by a Casino. Co-incidentally, on Saturday night, Loretta Lynn is performing. Monkey-boy thinks this is the coolest thing since Paris Hilton showed her Vajayjay on YouTube. He somehow managed to charm his way into her Prevost (motorhome) after the show and got her to autograph his front plate and a hat. The boy definitely takes after his old man. :smirk: All kidding aside, he was just fired up. I'll be putting that front number plate in his wall of fame. :thumb: Any brushes with fame stories out there? :thumb:

I ran into Jeff Foxworthy in Hollywood a few years back. Shook his hand and said "how you doing?" he said "fine" and I walked on. :noidea: Other than that, I knew Greg Page, a Former Heavy weight boxing champ. He owned the gym I used to belong to when i was wee lad and came in every few weeks to work out. Oh, I meet M33 once, major let down :smirk:

i knew weeman(midget from jackass) before he was famous. walked in on him at a house party fucking a full size woman doggy style but he was standing up

back in teh day before he became an actor Jason Lee was a pro skateboarder and he showed up at a skate spot and we skated together. Tony hawk also showed up at a skate spot in solana beach and my friend and i got our shoes into a shot in the powel perolta 8 (could have been 6 or 7 i dont recall) skate vid.

one time i seen Rick Thorn(BMX and MTV guy) at warped tour. so i went up to him and said "hey rick how the hell you been?" we started talking like we knew each other for years  i think he must have been thinking fuck i dont remember him but i dont want to be a dick haha

as for dirt bikes... i met marty smith at the track. walked up introduced myself and started bullshittin with him for a good 10 -15 mins. later on some kid came up to me and was like " DO YOU KNOW WHO THAT IS?" i was like Nope but hes a cool guy. when i got home i googled his name and  he is a fucking legend. :rocker: what a down to earth cool guy tho.

i also have video of tommy clowers and I jumping a jump at the same time.

Pay no mind that it was like a 10 ft jump and he was just passing my slow self ok :)

fuck thats a LOT of digging. it might be up on my youtube channel if you go back far enough to when i was riding the track a lot. Barona Oaks... go ahead look for it

I talked to Ian from the TV show Extreme 4x4 last year (the host with the crazy hair)... this while he was racing in the King of the Hammers. His truck broke down, we were moving to another location when we walked dow nto our trucks he was walkign aroudn looking for a bolt. He said I couldn't help but IF I saw something it would be ok to point at it and say "what's that"???... Then I saw him at the Off Road Expo in Pomona... he was walking (like he was on a mission so I didn't interupt him.

Met Tommy Lasorda in the church parking lot a long time ago...he was "in town" and asked what time church was, I told him 6:30 (evening), he said "uh oh, we're late"... I waited for him to catch up, shook his hand he went one way I went another.

I watched Jeff Ward racing minis as a kid at Saddleback... He raced against my friends cousin... pits were near each other but he wasn't anybody at the time... just another kid (with freckles...)

Shook TraV's hand while out riding... when he wasn't performing with the ZB Band... :rocker:

Shook CDA's hand over T'Day weekend end last year... must have been between races!!! :hail:

hey rez .. Tommy Lasorda came to my hospital bed and signed a ball for me when i was 7 and all burnt up. i still have the ball. the signiture is all faded and there is a bunch of bite marks from when my dog got ahold of it but none of that matters to me. also lou feregno and the old guy from M.A.S.H.

I met Gene Simmons, and some other soap opera stars, once upon a long time ago. It wasn't a random thing, but we were at a cancer foundation event, that BH was the poster boy for. I don't remember much, but I do recall that Mr. Simmons, didn't really want to be bothered, and seemed better then everyone else. :noidea:

Met Joe Gibbs in the Indy SX pits a few years ago and when I went to take a picture with him, he offered his Super Bowl ring. :rocker: Very cool guy, wouldn't mind sitting down and having a conversation with him.

I kicked Chuck Norris's ass...:smirk:
 Then this must be the ghost of CDA posting.

I met Rey Mysterio at a hotel after a WWF show. I was about 6 or 7 and I went up to him and said hey. He picked me up and talked with me and my family for a while. There were a ton of wrestlers there, but I was too amazed with meeting my favorite wrestler to even care about the others.

I was roosted by Frankie Lettieri and Ryan Smith.

I may have met some others, but that's all I can remember.
