We get conditioned to always go to the same spots, human nature. Sometimes there are fun places to ride that are right under our nose that are overlooked.
This area is a place few riders go to, popular in the old days, now overshadowed by all the other spots.
Spent the day there Saturday and had a blast.
Why isn't it popular?
"It's dangerous, meth heads in the area"
"It's flat, no hills to ride"
"No singletrack"
"It's boring"
"It's not legal"
"There is nothing there" (Actually that is true, one of the reasons it's a fun place)
There is still fun stuff to ride, just have to find it.
