Last day of Crows Canyon as we know it

Well Crows Canyon aka the annual meeting place for the east coast ride is going to a "Members Only" Club and this was there last day as a open place to ride. The weather was PERFECT for rideing as it was 65-70 all day with little wind and sunny. We all packed up in the wittle ranger and headed out. Got there and started unloading, i started playing with my camera

The track was perfect:




This is where i will put the go pro of my bike blowing up after the first hour......


This is my bike chilling after it decided crank bearings are for pussies:


Pulled the top end off in 20 minutes because i was curious if it was top or bottom end, and at this point i had nothing to do for the next 6 hours. Luckily my new cylinder was in good shape, bad part is the crank is seized:



After that i chilled and listened to music in my truck then decided to go play with the camera some more:

Then i tried to Finish out the Day all BK like with some landscape photos:


Believe it or not its was still actually a fun day, i just sat around while my buddies rode but the one did let me take his CR250 out for a quick spin. If this is my last day at this place at least it was a memorable one

Possibly, im not even quite sure exactly how these memberships work besides you have to be 21 and its 250$ for one

That corner useally has one or two of those on the days that its not dry as the Sahara, I helped make it and never even got to ride it at its full potential

So far my buddys dad has applied for one and what he tells me is that its 250 for the membership and your allowed to have 6 additional names listed with that membership for 50$ every name. This is good for the entire year but the guy with the name on the Main membership has to be with the group everytime. So even 5 out of the 6 people want to go and the main name on the membership does not, your not allowed to ride

yeh im gonna get an associate pass cause my buddies uncle is buying a main pass pretty sure, i always go down with him anyway so it doesnt matter if i have to be with him everytime

It sucks they are closing, just a matter of time before lorettas pull out, and GNCC. I like the track but I can find a new place as easy as they can ask me for 250$ a year. I'm diggin smith road, funnier than hell and only a half hour away.

Curious why they're changing to this type of membership. Are they trying to make it more of a private area with less people? Otherwise I really hope that bringing in more revenue isn't their primary goal with this membership idea.
YD brings up a good point, how much longer is Loretta's going to stick around, not sure how much they like membership only tracks.

well i talked to my buddies uncle, supposedly they will have riding available on some weekends for the public, the price will be raised a bit though
