I love this sport and I will carry that love to my grave, but it is so damn hard to be great, to be successful, to make the races...... Alyssa Grant makes a statement saying " Other sports like baseball and football you can get a scholarship for, if your grades aren't god you can't play. In motocross kids are quitting school to find more time to ride... You can get your kid a bat and a ball and a baseball glove and he'll play all day every day in the back yard for what it costs for a pair of riding boots."

The show is great, it shows exactly why this is why I race. I love the constant high pressure involved in it to be the best you can be, and the fact the endless hours of hard work materialize. But more importantly, I love lining up each and every time thinking "If I am good enough... this is what will keep the heat on".
