I would imagine that they are already at the races. $400 isn't much for the top guys and teams.

My white edition is now one more version back from the top. It works for me.

This is just a replacement case that sells for $50, no camera included.

I doubt you'll see many on the pro's as GoPro would want to keep them as visible as possible.

What's the difference besides the black? I would wonder if the black would interfere with it's ability to record. When someone takes it out in the desert or on hotter days. Just a thought.

Yeah that was one of the first things I thought about, they already get pretty hot as it is.

Yes the matte black is the only difference. It does have a valid purpose though. For example if you want to get onstage/behind the scenes shots of a concert a little matte black "box" is easier to blind in.
