GM vs Ford

So get a call today from my sons friend. "Hey me and my dad are broke down on the Highway , can you come tow us?"

The ford's only 20 something odd years old.....

Old vehicles need TLC. I don't care who built it.

It wasn't a mechanical failure. 5 speed diesel dual fuel tanks with a tender tank in the bed. Driver said he forgot to switch tanks coming up the Highway and ran out of fuel. Thought all he needed was a short tow to bump start it. Towed him about 4 miles to a parking lot. Turns out both tanks were empty. He pumped a few gallons on from the tender and she fired right up. Needles to say he was a bit embarrassed.
