Nelson Mandela 1918-2013The news of his death deeply saddens me.
The world lost one its most courageous human beings. Nelson MAdela's words changed a nation, influenced the world and made a difference. He refused to take up arms against his oppressors, but instead fought for economic sanctions against South Africa to help end apartheid in his homeland. Mandela fought to end poverty and strike down a government that chose 2nd class citizens because the color of their skin. He didn't do it for himself, he did it for his people, his country and most of all you and I so that our children would live in a better world.
Rest in Peace Nelson Mandela. Its been an honor to share this world with you.
