250F Carb screw?

Ok so I can’t find info on this anywhere. Does anyone know what size the screw is for the slide. The one under the cap(Phillips). I stripped it and wanted to know if I can go to the hardware store and pick one up or if this is a specialty?

4mm by about 4-6mm long.

This holds the slide onto the rocker.

Number 8 screw? 4.064 mm? Should this do the trick and just cut it down to 4-6 mm?

A number 8 screw is not metric and thus the threads will be different. You need a metric unit.
