BL154 from the Mini Warriors dvd. He could beat Alessi and Stewart as a amateur... Would of been great to see how things would have turned out for him once he turned pro.

Thank you for posting. I went on an did a search on him. Thank you for posting this, us younger guys may have never heard about Layton. From what I've read, he was a great rider...used to beat Alessi on 85's and people had no doubt he would have been one of the best of our time.

A young kid, yet he's a legend. MX has such an awesome community.

What I saw, was he was driving his car home from work, and had a head on with a vehicle going the wrong way on a mountain road.

Yeah the guy was riding the track reverse and they collided over a double.

That is someone else. His accident was in 1999.

Yes, he died in 1999 as a result of his crash.
