Beta, a LOVE story

So, as you all know Cleonard went and got himself a new bike finally, well right behind him was my thoughts on Uptite (George) going to Beta sales and dumping the "new" Husky sales as seen in my other thread. He will still be a Husky repair shop and aftermarket sales department/add ons. Thread> https://www.dirtbikeaddicts.com/threads/husqvarna-to-beta.4577/ <Thread.
So, I thought what the heck, lets ride one of them RS520's George has on the showroom. Hooked, lined and BAM, what a sweet machine! Will I let one of you clowns ride it? Hell NO! I need to get as much out of it as I can right now. So, with the BYOB "Build Your Own Beta" program and a chunk of cash in my pocket I decided to go that route. The dealer does not loose money if you order a custom bike and have it shipped to them. So I talked it over with my man (George) and he said, "I have stupid, I havn't even used." He thought I should get the 350 or 450! :naughty: Well, the 520 felt like my FI 450. He claims that, the older I get the faster I was. Well, I was never fast so tough shit! Here she is:

And then there are my other three Italian ladies. Missing one though, she is my 09 TE450 that looks almost like the one on your left, she is the one in the shop!

Well, I have to say. I love BIKES! Kind of sad when you order a bike on line and it is built and shipped from Florence Italy before Husky gets the other bike fixed in the shop. Nice thing about Betas is this. If you need a part and they don't have it in Paso Robles (American Beta Plant) they next day air it from Italy so you are not without a bike very long. This company has there shit together. I have a Ferrari for a bike. SWEEEEEEETT!!!!

News Flash:
Guinnea bastard motorcycle company calls out KTM and tells them to go pound salt!

Hey that looks familiar. Wish that I had the $$$ for BYOB. Then again I'm doing a DIY BYOB but I did get the bike with the big tank and the rear rack. Those seem to be missing on yours. No steering stab for me (yet), but I have a MT43, desert skid plate, 13/48 sprockets, and the Enduro Engineering hand guards waiting for install. Going to order some rad guards today. Then it will be time for a DIY rad cooling setup. I'll be spending about $35 on that instead of $150 for the kit.

There is no replacement for displacement. I'm glad that I got the 520. Plenty of juice

I have the big tank in a box at home, didn't think I needed the rack. Have the rad guards, cooloing fan, and a little bling factor. I went 13/45 and it feels pretty good. Had to change up the funky solid rear chain gear. I was going to go throw down some miles yesturday but cleaned up the SM instead. I hope she sales soon so I can replenish my account a little. Oh yah, George at Uptite is working on a skid plate, and some other stuff but the stock one is pretty nice.
You going to post up more pics?
