Best riding spot east of the Mississippi?

Last year me and a couple friends wanted to go to Silver lake sand dunes for our senior trip. It never happened as we were highschoolers and had no money. However now that we are all working we could make going somewhere awesome to ride for a long weekend a reality. So the question is, where shall we go?

So if you had to pick one spot to ride for 2-3 days on this side of the country, where would it be and why?

Kentucky! Jax has his own forest full of single track as well as a track to ride!

I haven't been to Eureka lately. Funny how I knew these two guys who used to live in Bakersfield. One had the lodge in Eureka, and the other works over at Beluga. Knew them both for years. Saw them together once out at Eureka. Discovered they are cousins.

It can be a small world

Carolina Adventure world. Awesome place. Rode trails for 2 days awesome single track as well as some double. I wish my gopro didn't get left behind :(

I don't know about the best but whats close to me and has everything that park in Ohio had is this place called Dirty Turtle. They had closed down before but recently opened back up. They changed a bunch since the last time I was there. Me and shortshift went out last weekend to check it out. Now the trails are one way, they have cabins for camping, the track has been groomed for track poosies like @Mihylo33, plus they have primitive camping and constructed bathrooms now instead of just porta cans. The track was nice but the needed the jumps faced more, they were more rollers than jumps. Lastly there is a professional maintained track next door that you can ride over too and ride for ones that want a real MX experience.

I'm pretty sure I see Eastcoast ride in KY next summer.....
Pussy :smirk:

LOL, no one is mentioning any free and open riding land!!
Oh there is much national forest land to ride here but they don't have MX tracks in the national forest. Half the riders like MX and half like trails so we try to find a place that offers both. Plus camping with bath rooms etc. we make this a group thing and families come so there has to be something for everyone.
