250 2007 kx 250 questions

1)..... which years are the same design with the 2007 kx 250 ( changable part designs ) i heard 2005 -2007 but idk

2).....are the 2007 kx 250 frames and the kx 250f frames the same, like can i put a 2007 kx 250 motor on a 2008 kx 250f frame ?

3)..... what are good sites 2 get used parts? , pafer newest as possable

1 05-07 are very similar
2 no, the kxf is an AL frame, the kx is steel, If you are good at fabbing and welding you can put the kx in the kxf.

The only main differences are changes in the supsension department. There also some small fine tuning adjustments they made such as porting, caburetor jets, and some very minor things... ALOT of parts from 03's up will fit. If you have any parts compatibility questions shoot a PM my way and i'll be very glad hel. :thumb:

lol,i can tell you one thing dont get an 05 crank for a 06 or 07 kx 250 because someone tells you its the same "FALSE"i had to get a brand new 05 clutch basket and primrary gears :busted: i learned that the hard way :foul:

It's pretty simple really to tell what parts will fit what year bike if you just think about it for a second......look up OEM parts and cross reference parts numbers between years, if they are the same number they most likely will fit.

I use the OEM section of bike bandit to compare part numbers if I think one model is has the same part as another, even then sometimes they change the part number just to be a pain in the ass.

I have heard 03-07 are pretty similar I have an 03 kx250 M1 I know for a fact tho that the exhaust set up is different, also the 03 kx250 M1 was a one year bike (1/2 year) I think.... but that's just what I have heard :noidea:
