Wanting to build a modernized version of a 1984 cr80. First I need to know where to buy a crankshaft for it. Does anyone know where to buy one or if any of the newer model cr80 cranks will work on it? Also I want to put forks and front brakes off a newer cr80 on it as well. Anyone know how this can be done?

Just get a cr85 and be done with it.
Don't want to. Want a vintage 80 with modernized parts (disc brakes mainly). If I wanted an 85 I wouldn't have made this thread.
You would have to machine custom clamps for any modern fork
From what it sounds like you wouldn't.
