250F 01 yamaha wr250 compatability

I have a 2001 yamaha wr250 and my bottom end is shot I need to know the years makes and models that are compatible with mine. I think a yz250f will fit mine as long as it's between 01 and 03 is this true? I am desperate to get my baby back in working order she been down for way to long PLEASE HELP!

Go full rebuild and you won't regret it.

According to Motosport parts fiche, the crank and crankcase share part numbers for 2001.
And if I'm not mistaken that runs back to 1999...

2001-2006 YZ 250F and WR250F lower ends are interchangeable. There are a few differences, but they should work fine. 2001 was the first year for both of these bikes.
