    there has been guys who do conversions. they been doing it for years...

    a guy camped next to us in JV one time had one... it was loud so i went over and talked to him. turned out he has a company... you send him your sportster and 5k and he makes it a dual sport.he tried to advertise here on dba ... dont know the business he had with james but it never happened :P

    granted these bikes are still FRQ's but would be fun for that.

    Yup, have heardof them and seen them as well as the HD "Baja 100"... almost got one for my first bike but it was too tall. :thumb:

    I work as a harley mechanic, ive seen some shit done with Sportsters!! Sportyts kick ass for what ever you wanna do with em'! Ive seen Cafe sportsters, bobbers, rigid tail choppers, flat track bikes, and they are also great for drag racing, land speed racing, road racing, riding fire roads, a sportster is the ultimate dual sport for almost everything BUT single track and stuff that requires a lot of ground clearance
