Injured Destry Abbott diagnosed with Leukemia

:(

WOW!!! I honestly don't even know what to say right now!!! As most of know I've been fighting a tough fight with my battle of cancer (Leukemia). Charlotte (my wife) has been by my side since the day we met. Well, we just received bad news yesterday that Charlotte has breast cancer and it's moved into her lymph nodes! She's having more tests done today and will be starting treatment here in AZ. This road just got a lot tougher, but I know both of us are going to do everything we can to get healthy again! Thank you for the support! ❤️ #da8strong #cancer #endcancer #leukemia#breastcancer #CANCERSUCKS
That it is just rough. I pray for them.

That is tough. For anyone else and for what it is worth, most everyone I know in the health field suggests the specialist centers, especially for someone who may not have a really close connection with a physician already. Anchorage is probably well above average for what we have here, but the Doc's I know send their own family to the "centers" in most cases. It may be a time when you DON'T want to buy local.

I recall when my mother was dying of cancer that it almost seemed like the oncologist was not forthcoming with things like where else we could go, and what else could be done. I guess that is common.

It's pretty common. I begged my mother to let me take her to Sloan Kettering in NYC. She wanted to stay local and not be a burden.

destryabbottAmazing News (health update)!!! I'm back here in Houston, Texas (@mdandersoncancercenter ) and just met with my amazing doctor. He just gave me news that things are looking really good and I won't need a bone marrow transplant. This means after the first week of December I'll be done with my treatments and can get back to everyday stuff (riding ✊). I'll still have to do two years of maintenance once a month, which will be easy compared to what I'm doing now. It's always a possibility I'll need a transplant if it comes back but I'm praying it won't. Thank you everyone for the love and support. You've made this tough road a lot easier ❤️ Hope to see you guys soon!

I just came across this and didn't read all of the posts prior, but I just want to say that I know a guy (one of my best friends for the last 25 years) from MN, who told me a couple years ago when I went home for vacation that he had leukemia.
I was like WTF?
So I told him of my research into hemp oil, and specifically Rick Simpson's "Phoenix Tears" and his "Run from the cure" video he put out some years ago.
My buddy (who I will give you his info if you PM me) has a relative that lives in CO, and he called him to get some of this hemp oil sent to him, and he started looking into it.
About 6 months later when I spoke with him he told me that after his last checkup that they had found prostrate cancer (he's 50).
So he started this hemp oil regimen heavy, and now 2 years later he is completely free of any cancer in his body!
NOT A JOKE! I can give you his info.
In fact he quit taking the hemp oil about 6 months ago, but since he is ex-military he gets tested regularly, he is still coming up positive for THC/CBD. He had to flood his body with it, but it frigging worked!!!

Since then my grandmother has been diagnosed with lung cancer, and a good friend of mine, skydiving buddy, trail-riding buddy, has just recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
I keep trying to use my buddy from MN's case as a wake up call to all that want to LIVE!, but am being met with skepticism.
My aunt died last year of brain cancer, it wasn't 6 months from the time of diagnosis to the grave.

People, please look into this. The marijuana plant cures everything from cancer to boredom.
There is no reason for us to die from this curable disease.

I wish I knew this 2 yrs ago.

I wish I knew this 2 yrs ago.
I wish everybody knew it 100 years ago.
My friend who has/had pancreatic cancer went in for surgery last week.
At first they told him it was the size of a dime (about 1/2"); after he came out of surgery they told him they removed 75% of his pancreas. WTF!?
The pancreas is about 6-7 inches long. The math doesn't add up.
The truth is that cancer is a multi-billion dollar a year industry, and the industry (read profits) cannot support itself if people are not dying of cancer.
All of these specialty cancer places are nothing more than death/profit zones.
If you aren't sick, they dont exist, end of story.
Your cancer/illness keeps them in business.
Cancer is totally curable, along with every other disease known to man.
Remember AIDS?
What a joke.
Magic Johnson, the only guy you ever saw that had AIDS that gained 40 lbs.
It's all a scam.
Ebola? Scam.
Zika? Scam.
SIDS? Scam.
Swine flu? Scam.
H1N1? Scam.
It never ends.
Until people realize that big government isn't working for you, but against you, this will continue, and they will reap hugely insane profits off your illness, as they have been doing for years.

People need to stop watching TV, and learn to do things that are useful & productive, instead of just entertaining themselves all day, and re-learn how to think critically.
We've become a nation of morons, and they are promoting this so they can exploit it.
