i will do pal im on other forums but always update each thread :) i tend to buy and sell projects alot so i may have another one after this once i get some work in once i get a van , plan to get my cases blasted and painted to freshen them up or i may end up leaving them blasted

blasted was usually how you saw the 'factory' bikes.

are they? i always thought the cases were painted they do look better blasted and unpainted which i think il be going rather than having cost to blast them and t hen get them painted. not sure the going rate for blasting is though lol

If you do "blast" them, make sure you use a very fine material, you'll want the finished surface as smooth as possible. Back in the day, glass bead was the media of choice, but there are a lot of other options now. If you do stick with raw, it's harder to keep clean, even washed clean hands will show finger prints a few weeks after handling. It will also start to build white rust, oxidize, corrode, or whatever other term you can identify with.

il be putting them into a company to be done pal don't have the stuff for to do it myself, yeah going by stock pictures there originally black but il decide later don't plan to keep it for long once its done anyways as its hopefully going to get me enough cash or a swap for a lwb van. but il probably have some fun with it over my local bing before i sell it as never been on a dirt bike in about 4 years lol

Looks like it will be later this week il be getting bike as company is waiting until they get another job up my way. on the plus side they are going to email me the numbers off engine and frame so i can check the exact year and start ordering some parts for it.

Back when works bikes were actually one off bikes with the works...

Euros still get a lot of that. And if you think we get to buy what Roczen is riding I have a bridge, a highway, and an airport that I can make a deal on. (If you need a place to live I have a selection of that too, right close by the bridge, the highway, and the airport.)

Absolutely not. No one could ever buy factory R&D. They have an unlimited amount of heads, cranks, and suspension parts and an unlimited amount of shop time and machinists.

Alright mate? Just a thought, do you have a manual for it yet or are you waiting to find out exact year before you get one?
If not yet then the link below may help you find parts a little easier but don't expect to find much Nos Oem over hee other than maybe Davidsilverspares or maybe Honda for generic bolts, seals and nuts etc!

cheers buddy its defo 84 waiting on a guy pricing my engine bits i can get Honda gaskets on eBay but fitting a mitaka clutch basket and plates i have some pictures off engine etc my major issue is exhaust as cheapest dg pipe is about £500 time tax goes on found a dep silencer but they dont make downpipes though

Appreciate it mate :) this bike will be taking a few months to complete until i get money iv got some funds saved but no other income coming as ran out of stuff to sell lol so been working the funds i have and bought a old fashion type petrol mower to fix and sell worth about £100 got it for £30 only needing small maintenance so not too bad :) also got a Little 50cc Suzuki Landie moped coming tonight as well lol i plan to fix mower and sell it on pretty soon as it runs (guy said he never tried it which turned out to be true for once lol) just needing to tighten the chain and adjust the cutter depth. as for the moped im planning to get it running and if i do without having to spend huge amounts il stick it on a mot and sell it on as a runner if not il just part it out for parts as there like hens teeth in the uk as not found one yet for sale although parts are rare by the looks of things too. (its 1984 same as cr ) not too bad as iv always juggled money by buying bits and either fixing them or breaking them for parts to get money to do another project takes time for items to sell but i can shift pretty much anything if i keep at it lol
