But didnt do anything for the reason that it is wet and black I take it? if you look at the newer plug after a few more kicks you will probably see it is wet again. remember what a wet plug looks like, and that those are caused by getting too much fuel into the cylinder. some call that flooding. now you need to find the reason it flooded. usually it is caused by a bad float setting or some bad parts (ie float needle, seat, or floats themselves.) My guess is that no one that has owned your bike who knows you ever set the float and taking it apart to inspect that, setting it, and making sure it is reassembled correctly would be a good start. you may have to drain the fuel that has accumulated in the crankcase of your engine in order to keep it from flooding and not starting even after you have attended to the reason that it didn't start. Sounds like you were going to apply yet another "bandaid" with the jet change.

two ways come to mind. make sure you are outside for both of them. remove the carburetor and reed block and use a suction device (non electrical). the other is to take the sparkplug out and turn it over and spin the rear wheel with your hand until it isnt sputtering gas out anymore. ground the igntion one way or the other before you do that one. without resetting the float and making any needed repairs y ou will probably be back there again.

I just adjusted the float bowl I'll try them and c if it works..thanks for the help..if my cdi was Goin out would it still be getting spark cause before my bike wouldn't start it all of a sudden wouldn't hit the power band like the cdi was Goin back..my powervalve look fine

adjusted the float bowl? i hope that means you set the float LEVEL. and cleaned and tested it for leaking too.

spark can be funny. I am betting the problem isnt spark related though from what you say. testing the stator resistance is a way to feel better.
