Sun, your the best... He said it was a great time until he hit the LA traffic, told him to turn up the tunes, blaze the AC and enjoy. He made it back just as I was pulling big fat cows, pigs, grilled onions and cheese off the grill.
My oldest son showed up and kicked it for a moment until his mouth overtook his brain. Eh, whatever... One in every family and he lives far enough away. So Jim met all 6 of my brats.

Anchorage Steve?! Wow, now there's a place I'd love to ride and explore. I've never been. Nor did I know quad riders give birth to raccoons there. For sure I want to go now! lol

I think Jim had a good time. That is, after I started letting him ride in front of me lol He is a fast rider for not knowing the trails. Im glad he didn't fly off one. It was so dry and slippery out there. I don't have fresh rubber like he does. That and Im twice his age. I wanted to take him up to the LPNF but it wasn't open yet.

There are many places to explore for sure, one of these days I want to combine a ride day with a fishing day, kind of working out how to do that though,it's hard to stuff my fishing gear in a back pack.

Totally doable! Unless your Mister Fancy Fisherman. Make it an "easy" day. Easy riding and simple fishing. Heck, I caught a fish one day with an old hook and some fishing line that I found on the ground. My arm was the pole.



Palmer, glad he had fun. I suggested he drink another beer and lay back at Gorman for a snooze till about 6pm and then head home.

I can only imagine what it is like at your house with your entire family there. I mean shopping with your girls alone looks like a hoot!

Not fancy....I keep it pretty simple, but you won't catch any salmon up here on a hand held line. I try to take the sport out of sport fishing, I basically use horse gear.

Yup.....in summertime all I want to do is ride dirtbikes and play, but gotta pay the bills. That place in the pic is the Kenai River. My favorite fishing spot.
