1976 a couple of guys that grew up together put together a race bike and entered it in a race, the next year they developed a bike of their own, started the TM brand which I guess is the initials of their respective sons (Thomas and Mirko) since then the Italian company has produced Race bikes. They are high end very well engineered bikes. I don't know a lot about the individual models, but they are pretty well put together.

I think MXA had a test on a 15 model this month.

I own a 14 300 XC.....probably the same as yours, the XC is extremely predictable and turns great....the RM however is a scalpel, I can turn much quicker and with less effort than the XC....I love em both though.
The RM is the Razors Edge of turn capability! When I rode 2strokesteves bike, they could have changed my name to twitch!

On my exc380, I changed the triple clamps and made that bike into the tightest turning bike I've ever owned, and never had head shake tendencies. But it wouldn't slice and dice, or increase your desire to turn like rectums RM.

if the conditions are so, my Zuke can get nasty head shake......it gets scary sometimes.

I've never heard a complaint about a TM bike yet, there's been a load of them over here in the past few years but mainly small 85's and 125 and the odd bigger bike, always seen as a nice niche little bit different and fkn lovely to look at so if you still fancy one go for it but parts may be an issue on your side of the pond!

I've seen one race here in my vet class. Nice bike, but the guy sold it and bought a crf450.
