Yes there is meant to be oil in your magneto!
I've just split an 89-90 kickstart engine with a new cylinder and piston fitted ( Max 1-2 hour run time ) all parts from the engine and bike are for sale so if you need anything message me!

I dont know how many of the top end parts mix, but the base gasket, connecting rod etc were the same between the old dr100 of the late 80's and the dr125's of just a few years back. the whole tops would swap I would bet without modification. I wouldnt be surprised if you can't bore the 100 cylinder the 6mm or put a dry 125 liner in the dr100 cylinder. you would have to do some head work after that.

As can be seen in the pics there is wear on the rockers and cam so check your own rockers and cam for condition and you could use CMSNL.COM for microfische cross 100-125 fit reference!

How's £110 for the complete engine plus whatever the postage is but please remember I'm in the UK.
On stripping off the top end I noticed considerable play in the crank main bearings and the underside of the engine casings has been JB welded so I will send more pics ASAP!
