RM250 RM 250 won't start

I have a 93 RM 250 that has a full rebuild.the water from my radiator leaked into my engine. The problem has been fixed I drained the oil and ran some new through it a few times I also tools the head off and cleaned the cylinder and made sure there was no damage but it still won't start I have around 180 compression good spark and fuel

Welcome. Sorry to hear of your troubles.
Did you clean the carburetor while it was apart?
Are you sure fuel is getting into the cylinder and not just to the carburetor?

Yes I cleaned the carb and checked the Reids wat else could cause it not to get fuel
Ah, didn't notice the model...

Those carbs are very fickle, as I have one myself. I also cannot get it to start cold.
Something about the choke/idle speed knob wears out over time rendering them nearly useless..
BK2 will chime in... he sold me the damn carb...

Sorry I can't be more help, but I have the same issue with mine! -BIG DAN:thumb:

Ok so yea I'm kinda stuck not sure wat to do
Just so you know, I have been battling the same carburetor. Cleaned it and adjusted it 1000 times, to no avail.

One day I was pissed, so I took the round slide carburetor off my KDX200 and installed it in place of the RM250 carb. The bike started first kick... It's definitely a fueling issue on these carburetors. -BIG DAN:thumb:

If I remember this carb correctly.... Only if the carb is 100% clean and in perfect condition will it operate properly.... that means all the O-rings gaskets, jets, slides, and adjustment screws need to be perfect. Even a spec of dirt will throw this carb into a tizzy...
